UPDATE
I pray that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving or Turkey Day. I enjoyed my peaceful time and had an opportunity to reflect on what I am thankful for. I have good health, living parents, a great family, good friends, and a job. So yes I am thankful and very blessed.

I wanted to provide an update on couple of things I posted on the blog. First, on my cousin who is in need of a heart transplant. He is still on the waiting list. They have put a pace maker and defibrillator or a ventricular assist device (VAD) in his chest. I am not sure why they have not given him an artificial heart. Right now as long as he prevents being stressed out, and does not have a heart attack and stay healthy he is strong enough to wait on the heart. He looks good though.

My uncle died. We attended the funeral in Mississippi. His son attended. We all worried it was too much for his heart but he seemed to be okay. But you could tell that the family was over taxed with worry after losing a father and worrying about the health of their brother. But prayer changes things and I pray he will get a heart or that the one he has now can survive for a very long time with the devices in his chest.

On finding Cherene Snow we touched based. I simply went to Facebook and she was there. We promised to stay in touch. She is in New York still acting.

On getting the Christian Louboutin shoes for $595.00, I don't think that is going to happen too soon. Husband said it was wasteful and that he would rather give it to charity than to buy one pair of shoes. He doesn't feel you should pay more than $200.00 bucks for a pair of shoes. He thinks there are too many people in need to waste money on something I won't even wear often since I change shoes with every outfit. So on this one, I kinda agree. As a matter of fact, two people have asked for help in purchasing toys and clothes for needy people for Christmas. They want us to help adopt a couple of families. I think this is a wonderful idea. Maybe, I'll try to get them later in the New Year. If not, I don't think I'll lose any tears over the shoes.

Sorry for your loss, but encouraged to hear that your cousin in holding on.

I'm the anti-woman when it comes to shopping and such, so I'm gonna have to go with hubby on the shoes. *lol* Sorry!
