A Drink on Him
I couldn’t help myself. I was passing by a site where a young man was killed and this caught my eye. It wasn’t the stuff animals, it was the gin bottles. I couldn’t help myself. I had to take the picture with my cell phone.
Ummm... how interesting. I hope this meant that whoever put together the display, was trying to let the community know that there is a lesson to be learned from this tragedy.
At a funeral once the folks coming to view the body at the end put all kinds of alcohol in the coffin...moved the boy's bible to put whisky in his hand...put cigarettes and joints in the coffin...the killer was the matches and lighter...for real????
I am an author and newspaper columnist. I love writing in all forms. I have been married 24 years and have one daughter. I have written five books but I'm most proud of "Backroom Confessions" and "A Hole in My Heart". I co authored "A Hole in My Heart" with my then fourteen year old nephew. Although I work full time I also own two companies, one is a non-profit organization and the other is a for profit business.
