Is Different a Good Thing?

Honestly I said that I would not watch American Idols but I am so use to following this show as I work on manuscripts, surf the net, or read my email that I feel like something is off if I change the channel. That said I still can not figure out why Megan Joy lasted as long as she did. Does looks really get you that far? I mean she isn’t stunning beautiful but she looks alright, yet people thought she was spectacular. Why? Do tell!

There are some stand outs like Danny, Lil Rounds and Adams and a couple more might I add, but for the life of me I do not know why they chose the songs they sing? Who in the heck is helping these potential singers? Well at least the right person was sent squawking and flapping her wings. One thing about it, Megan is different. I suppose in a world of people doing the same thing, that is a good thing. I just could not see people buying her CD. As for the possible winner, I think Adam got this!

The newest season of AI has not started here. I saw that she was eliminated only because I subscribe to Yahoo and other NY newspapers...I feel so left out sometimes, but everyplace I have read, said it was her turn to go...

I'm not watching this year. My daughter gives me updates though every week.

She's the type of singer for one maybe two particular genres/markets. Crossing over isn't for her.

Fortunately, AI separates the good singers from the rising stars.

Adam will definitely be standing at the end, but the votes will decide if he wins.
