***Note***My Bad: We are planning on attending an author's fair in New York. But I'm going to Chicago too doing the same month for another book fair. Sorry for writing she is performing in Chicago. Still though, I don't like New York either but really want to attend this huge Book Conference.
Marking her official theatrical debut, the church-reared Barrino is contracted for her stint on The Great White Way through the fall. I plan to see the Color Purple in June or September if I can tickets. I hear that Fantasia Barrino, American Idol winner, is doing a great job while bringing in serious dollars. I love plays and since I plan to attend the Harlem Fair in September, I hope the play is still going on. Fantasia was hired to start April 10 through the fall. I know the play should be pretty good. I loved the movie and have watched it many times. Yes, I think I am going to this play. Prayfully I can get tickets and visit my many relatives while there.
I am not a big city girl and not very fond of Chicago. But I think it would be a good family trip to take that's close to home.

Fantasia is not appearing in the Chicago show!! She will only be performing at the Broadway Theatre in New York.
I would love to see the paly but unfortunately I will not be able to see Fantasia on Broadway. She also has a new single out called "When I See You" ya'll should check it out.
Hope you get to attend the show miss Rose. But I heard that it's playing in New York City. Is she doing 2 shows in both Chitown and Broadway? Boy, that girl is a beast! (as in; she's a beast of a workaholic performing in 2 big city markets like that!) Go Fantastia!
