Happy Birthday Dad!

I am so thankful! I had an amazing weekend. We celebrated dad’s 78 birthday. The last time we tried to do that was about 30 years ago. Dad is extremely shy. But mom wanted him to have a surprise party. She invited over 25 people and had the house all decorated. Dad arrived home and everybody popped out singing. Dad was so mad, he ran out the door and jumped in the car and left. He didn’t come back until the guests were long gone. We celebrated without him. This time he couldn’t run but he wouldn’t take off his coat. He had a good time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAUGHTER

Happy Birthday DeeDee. Man time is really passing by. Just a couple of years ago I was sending my daughter off to college and wondering if I should allow her to take her car. Imagine she is now 22 years old.
I have to get that date off my pictures. Wrong date listed.

Happy Birthday to Me. Thank you God for giving me another blessed year of life. Continue to strengthen and be with me as I travel life's narrow way. Bless me, my family, friends and everyone in the world throughout the year with good health and strengthen our walk with you.

Happy Birthday Mom! You are blessed to celebrate 71 years. Sorry I thought it was 72 this morning. But still: You are a wonderful mother and I pray to have you here for many more years.....

Love you

Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

My daughter woke me this morning, “Do you know what today is?”

“Happy Birthday,” I screamed. But still I could not believe that my daughter is 21 years old. Where oh where did the time go? She dressed and said she was going to get her eyebrows arched and to get a pedicure. Then she walked into my room wearing a tiara and a sash that signified that she is now 21.

We had a dinner for her since it was on a weeknight. She will celebrate with her friends throughout the weekend. She reminded me that in a girl’s life there are three important birthdays, 13, 16 and 21. Imagine that!

I have a great daughter and I am proud of her. But still I can’t wait until she graduates from college. Now that is going to be a big day for me. Still I am blessed to have her here with us and in good health. Happy Birthday my darling child….
