All We Need is Love

My sister works on a military base and when I heard about what happened at Fort Hood it scared me terribly. You see she used to work on that base, so when I heard about the tragedy that occurred there, I panic. Then when I read the article further, I saw that it was in Texas. So I'm thankful she was not there but sad others were. I spent a lot of time with her at Fort Hood when she was there.

What 's happening to this world? I think folks are going mad..Stress and depression, folks robbing and killing. Now home invasions and car jacking on the rise. Still I know there is much love out there.... we just have to give, find, and share it. Yeah, that's the ticket........

So sad. Sorry for all the families. I'm glad he survived though. Perhaps we can now get some perspective on why people do these things and find a way to help them before it is too late. Too many people are killing others and then turning on themselves. Perhaps if mental health professionals can figure out what is behind this kind of violent behavior, more people can get help rather than be a danger to others and themselves.

Heartbreaking. Simply heartbreaking. The only thing I can think is that we never know our 'time', and must always be ready.

What's angering so many is that there was so much warning about this man who lost control. That is something that we have control over and demand that warnings, such as they had with him, are paid closer attention to and dealt with promptly.
