Gossip or News?

Entertainment Television or ET as it is known used to be an informational show about entertainment issues and the latest news about the business, and maybe some relevant issues that affected the world. But now it has turned into a gossip show. I am so tired of hearing about the Octopulets, not because I don’t care but because I want to know what is happening in the world. I want to know how things are affecting me personally. With all the media this case is getting, I’m sure that the mother is getting paid and can pay for things her children need. So aren’t taxpayers out of the picture? If so, why can’t I just turn on my television and look at it without all the updates about Nadia? I don’t want to see her house or her nursery or know can she feed 8 kids within 30 minutes. I just want to relax and look at TV.

I stopped watching this show because of the way they talked everyday about Anna Nicole than they took another month to talk about her infant child, then even more time to talk ahout her ex-boyfriend. I just want to relax and look at TV. Is that wrong?

It's time to tune into something different. The History Chanel is a good start. Have you seen any Modern Marvels shows? Good stuff!

you know, i've never been much into pop culture, entertainment, or gossip shows. and what you're describing would drive me insane. okay, it was interesting when first reported because it's a woman having 8 kids. okay, maybe the twist afterwards and the wonder if they'll be okay in her care. from from there on, to me, that's between her and child services and i'm not interested. like you said, it's not that i don't care, but it's not my business. i imagine that she's trying to make a living for herself and her kids, but yeah, i would change the channel if i saw it again. i never see her because of the channels i watch.

Rose, Living in a foreign country, tv is really important to me. Medical shows, CNN, BBC etc. I second the History Channel, but have also begun to re read some of the books I bought with me here. I love to read and English books cost a fortune because they have to be imported from the UK. I am still a little heated that doctors fertilized the eggs of that woman knowing she had already given birth to 6 other children. I hte that my tax money is being used to treat them and support her while she finds tax free shelters for the income she makes on the dl...
