Thinking of You

I miss visiting everyone’s blog and finding out what you all have been up too. This is a very busy time of the year for me. There has been so many major changes happening and so much work to do. My daughter is home now. After the murder of my nephew we decided to bring her home due to the talk about revenge and retaliation. We did not want her to end up in the cross fire. Plus she was saying she did not like the school and only stayed this long because she was able to see her grandmother often. To make a long story short, the gang that the folks were affiliated with who killed my nephew tried to kidnap his 13 year old sister from her junior high school. It was stopped by the school and the perpetrators were arrested. So we are glad that we brought our daughter home. My husband felt like this gang would go after other teens in the family and he was right. She is attending a local college and just secured a good job in her field. She is a full time student and works 6 hours a day. She is so happy and so are we. The money we are saving is astronomical and that is so good………

As you all know we received a grant for my non-profit organization. I had to hire people, set up systems for checks, revise all our publicity materials and I am getting ready to move into my new office. My publishing company just completed five books and signed two new authors. In addition to this being tax time, it has been super busy. But I shall return by next week and I will start visiting you all later this week…..

Eventually I’ll have to decide who I am and what I want to be when I grow up. Running two companies and a household and still working is way too much…….

Have a good rest of the week and know that I am anxious to
r
eturn to blogging.

I've been busy too. I am hoping to get to visit blog friends all this week as I have some time (finally). You have also been through so much this year, Rose.

Connections can withstand time and space.

I'm so proud of all that you are. I'm also glad that your daughter is home where, apparently, she belongs. God is good, my friend, God is good.

Unbelieveable story miss Rose. I've been MIA myself, but my heart is always close to blogging. For myself and to catch up and read others. I tell you, it's been a crazy time for a brotha as well. I am so happy that everything came out okay for your family and more specifically your daughter. What a story! Congratulations to your publishing company too. Very well done.

You made the right decision in bringing her home. Sometimes we don't know what we need, but we get what we should. Glad that everything is working out for the best and congrats on the grant and moving!

WOW Rose so glad your daughter is home, safe and working in her field of choice. Late condolences to you and your family regarding your nephew. Praying for peace in this violent world of ours is something I find myself doing often now. Make sure you take some me time too!!
