What would you do if?

What would you do if 200 cameras’s followed you everywhere? What would you do if you could not use a public facility, or eat in a restaurant or take a drive without being chased and surrounded? How would you feel if everyone wanted a piece of you, just to make a quick dollar? What if you left a man you loved because the world hated him and thought he was using you? Yet, if you stayed with him your press, fans and handlers pulled away or totally focused on him and his antics while calling you a fool for loving him? (Britney behavior changed after she left her husband)

How would you feel if you could trust no one, not even your family?
What if your life has been a fairy tale for 10 years and you had people around you who would wipe your butt if you asked them to, all because they wanted what you have-money?

I feel for Britney Spears. I was so glad that her parents finally found a way to get their daughter and get her the help she needs. Sam and that Adnan person do not have her best interest at heart. They want what she has- her fame and money. If I was in her position, would I have mental issues? I’m not sure, but trust me- after what I have seen happen to her, all I can say is I am thankful it is not me or my child. I could not imagine not being able to pee without cameras’ coming over the door. I wish nothing but the best for this young lady…….

Rose I so agree with you. I am a naturally gregarious person when I want to be and when I don't want to be I am a veritable hermit. I can NOT imagine my life without the ability to just disappear if I want to. I WOULD LOSE MY MIND! Each time I see Brittany on TV or hear some new tale of her so-called life, I pray that she will make it through this madness and find a way to shield herself from future intrusions into what should be her private space!

I agree with most of what you said. However, I think her behavior was questionable long before she ever married Kevin. I think it started after she and Justin broke up. Remember the 52-hour marriage in Vegas.

That girl needs help. Real help. Hopefully, the next 14 days will make a difference.

the little things get to all of us on a daily basis--I'm sure I'd be a basket case if I had to deal with everything on camera.

I did feel sorry for her before I watched her " Do you want a piece of me" video. She clearly knows what she is doing and feels like she is "showing us what SHE wants us to see". I don't believe that she is taking full responsibility for her actions or duties as a woman and mother. I have not had 200 cameras trained on me, but then again, if I had that kind of money, you would not see me in the kind of dives/open leg situations/ generally bad behavior that she exhibits. She has beautiful homes, yet prefers to eat in public. She has a car with a top, but she chooses to ride with the top down...She is a mother and nurturer of life and chooses to behave in ways that are not conducive to the children's welfare or her own sanity. I can name hundreds of celebrities that have more money and or fame than her that go virtually unnoticed and their vaginas never appear in photos. This is not the first time that her parents have tried to obtain guardianship of her, just the first time they have succeeded.

I couldn't last an hour in that lifestyle without feeling the pressure and my sense of self crumbling. A lot of family history has hit the press and it seems that there is considerable mood disorders, addiction and suicide in her family. It's good that she is getting the help she needs.

I feel sorry for Brit too. I heard reports of bi-polar disorder which her behavior fits right in with that theory. Hopefully she will get the help she needs for her own sake and the sake of those kids.

Contrary to what folks believe, I'm a private person and couldn't handle fame very well. Cameras in my face? Papparazzi all over the place and newspapers misquoting my every word? No way luv. I couldn't take it. And call me crazy, but I do feel for Spears. And definitely for the kids. I hope things get better for her real soon so that she can turn her life around.

I hope that she gets all of the help she needs. Sometimes the camera people are everywhere, and sometimes stars live and hang out in places where camera people are in abundance. It can be sort of a vicious cycle. I hope that this round of treatment helps her to make the kind of decisions that are best for herself and her children.

My husband always comments that he doesn't want our daughter influenced by celebrities.

It's possible that Britney can turn her life around.

Anyone know how Whitney is doing?

I'd probably do the same thing Britney did...lose my freaking mind. Especially if I was built by the industry, as she were.

I kinda feel sad for this woman because you'd think mercy and common sense would come into play. At some point, I thought it would. But her spiral is nosedive-like.

She has to help herself.

I'm a shy and private person so I would hate to be in her shoes. It's a struggle for me to even deal with being the center of attention at my own book signing. But all in all, you never know what's truly going on inside a person. Although what I've seen has been disturbing, we never know the full story and more than likely, anything displayed on TV and in the tabloids has a slant. Not to say that she's a-okay. Only to say I can't judge and it can be easy to say what someone should do in a crisis situation when you're thinking from a space of peace. I can only hope that she can live a happy and productive life.

This is the jaded side of me...but I'm with jersey -- the girl knows she was "manufactured" in the studio -- and she's the result of a fickle public known for chewing people up and spitting them out. She has no REAL talent, so the only way she can stay relevant and in the headlines is to act in ways unfitting and unbecoming. How else do you explain her doing nothing all day but making Starbucks runs and driving aimlessly around Hollywood? She's got 200 cameras on her all-day everyday because she wants it that way. It's sad what some will do for celebrity. Brit needs to wake up, get out of Hollywood and in a "normal" environment and do the work she needs to do on her self for the sake of her sanity and those beautiful boys. I wish all involved in that situation nothing but eventual peace.
