Who will Win? American Idols... Are you addicted?

I know that I am picking up some bad habits. This particular habit can be classified as Reality Television illness. I still love CSI, CSI-Miami, the Law and Order Series, Criminal Minds and House but otherwise you can catch me looking at some sick show like Flava Flav, Surreal Life and American Idol. Though I must say I do enjoy American Idol and watching this with my husband and daughter is quite entertaining. I do have my favorites.

Taylor Hicks, 29 is my very favorite. He can sing and has great showmanship.

Paris Bennett, 17 is a great singer. Her stage presence is amazing. She has that "it" factor.

Mandisa Hundley, 29 This girl has an awesome singing voice. She can "sang" as we say.

Chris Daughtry, 26. This young man can sing too. He also has great stage presence.

Lisa Tucker, 16 This is a favorite. If she sticks to ballards, she could take it. She too has the it factor.

These are my favorites. I hope that they last till the end. If I could choose the winner though it would be Paris or Taylor. These two have great singing voices, amazing stage presence and the almighty "it" factor.

Mandisa is not short stopping. This girl can sing. She could take it to. To me this is the best American Idol show yet. These people can really sing. Only one person who is not on this list that should be and that is....

Sent home too early, 17 Gedeon McKinney could sing. He will get a contract anyway. Had he made it to the top ten, that would have been a show!

Whose your favorite? Who do you think will win?

You have some good taste, Rose..Taylor is my top pick too! Although I loved Paris' rendition of " Midnight Train to Georgia"..she rocked that!

The result show is tomorrow night...I am so addicted...I can't wait! LOL

Have a great Wednesday!

Love,
Sarah

I like Mandisa -- but I can't see America letting a big girl win. Taylor does seem to be a favorite. Someone somewhere said he looked like Michael McDonald's son -- and I love me some Michael McDonald.

Can't say I've watched AI this season so I'm not qualified to comment on it. I did want to thank you for visiting my blog and invite you back to read the poetry when you have time

Love Taylor Hicks - goofy as hell, though. The thing that cemented it for me, was the episode where they had to walk down that long hallway and sit on the chair in front of the judges. Do you remember him playing the harmonica on his way in? He was playing that harp like he sold his soul at the crossroads, know what I mean?

I hope Kathrine McPhee does well. She's my favorite female, in terms of the entire package.

Mandisa is by far the best singer, but damn: you can hang a billboard off her ass and still have room on either side. I don't think anyone that big is "Idol" material, although that woman sure can sing with the best of them.

Two things that cemented Kathrine McPhee for me: it was one of the first episodes, and she was so excited, she said she kissed all three judges on the lips. That's hot, picturing her, making out with Paula Abdul.

Second, was the night she had her hair down over her boobs, and everytime she moved, her boobs swayed a little bit, which meant her hair swayed a little bit. To me, that was sexy as hell. Hair that moves is sexy enough, but when hair moves because it's resting on boobs that're swaying, that's it.

I know I wouldn't want to be a judge.

Kevin Coavais must still be on, strictly due to the pity factor. He can't sing, and he looks like Chicken Little.

Kellie Pickler is one of Simon's favorites because when he judges her, he's using the head that costs him money, not the head that makes him money. She's cute, but she's a one-trick pony; if a song doesn't call for a southern twang, she ain't in it.

Elliot's awesome, but he's got to lose that Hassidic Jew look.

Ace is the prettiest boy I've seen in a while. All I can say about him is, he better hopes he never has to go to prison - they're'd be riots over him - can't sing worth a shit though. C'mon! Micheal Jackson???! What was he thinking?

Chris? Great rocker, and he's got the Vin Diesel thing going on, but sometimes he looks a little fairy-ish too.

But I'd have to say the competition will boil down to Taylor and Kathrine McPhee.

I wish we could have a similar reality show over here too...

I am one of those anti-Idol folks, LOL! I've never watched the show and am sick of it. I think it lost its touch about three seasons ago when Ruben Stouddard won. I believe that was the last time the show focused on real talent. But that's just my opinion. Glad to see you're feeling better, Rose.

Paris just looks to under aged for me to take her serious. She is very good at catching the audiences attention and all, but her look. She needs a more mature look. My favorite is Lisa. She can sing and is ohhhhh sooooo beautiful. She has that voice that could sing you to sleep and that look that could wake you. Definitely my type of girl. Just too young. But I believe she can and is gonna win.

Thank you. I just love me some Taylor.

Michelle you are right! America is only gonna let her get so far. But they gave Ruben a chance and he did good. But where is he now?

Khallis 8 - Taylor is the one. He seems like a lot of fun. I like how music flows through his blood. I can feel his music through my body. That's great music.

To me, Taylor reminds me of a young Joe Cocker. I don't know if you know who he is or not, but he's a white, British guy who you'd swear if you never saw him, that he was a black, old-school blues singer from the American south. He's just got that voice. Robert Johnnson and Leadbelly would've been proud to have him on a tour with them.

I would've never bought a Joe Cocker CD in my life until I went to the Woodstock in 1994. That was the 25 Anniversary one. Every band sucked, just about. Seriously. Well, at least the main stream bands did. All of your acid rock bands kicked ass, which I never thought of them as musicians till I saw them live - damn! Some of them like Alice in Chains, Primus and Rage Against the Machine are actually really, really good live.

So anyway, I'm suffering through all the ultra-crappy mainstream stuff (ironic: the stuff I came to see) and low and behold, on the stage comes Joe Cocker. I thought: "Damn, as if this concert doesn't suck enough with the mainstream bands and the crowd of 400,000 to contend with." (Try taking a dump in a port-a-poty that's been used by about 50,000 people in the last 48 hours, and you'll get the picture!)

And so I continue my thought, "and now they're making us suffer through this old geezer?!!!"

I'll tell you what: that man electrified the crowd. I didn't even know what live entertainment was until I saw Joe Cocker at Woodstock. The most unlikely man.

Here I am, 25 years old, fit as a fiddle, thinking I'm part of the "it" generation, all styling and everything, and this old geezer comes out on stage, and I think, "Damn, they must've really scraped bottom to sign this guy," and he just blows everyone away.

That's who Taylor Hicks reminds me of.

I'm a addicted this year I must admit, but its funny because I have not been all in to it like this in the past.

My favorites are Paris and Mandisa!

Your favorites are my favorites as well. Although, something about Paris irks me. No doubt the girl can sing, but there's just something about her that bugs me. The only reason I like Taylor is because of his personality, he's so energetic and seems so genuinely happy to be singing/performing that it wins me over. I really like Chris... I like the whole rocker thing... I'm totally and American Idol addict, other than that, I don't really watch reality tv anymore.

PS: Thanks for stopping by the blog!

I love Mandisa - that girl can sang anythang & make it work. Taylor has so much energy, he truly gets into what he's singing even if it does make him look silly. I love Paris - girl made me forget the Dixie Chicks were country. Elliott - he's from my homestate; he's talented. Katherine - I like her, I don't want to but I do. Lisa's ok. Ace? Well he looks good. Did you know he dates Essence Atkins (Half & Half)? Chris? Chris makes me forget I don't like rock & roll but he needs to show more diversity.
