Tamyra is 2 on this picture.

Thank you

My grand niece who is five called me. She was so sad. She said, "my dog died."
"Yes." I responded sadly. I did try to remain a little upbeat cause she is just a little kid.
"What we gone do?"
"I don't know Sweetheart. I just don't know."
We held the phone awhile. Then she asked, "Are we getting another dog?"
"I don't know, I just don't know."

The thing is she visits me often and she always felt that Ebony was her dog, so does her little brother who is 2. Every time they see me that asks, "how is my dog?" We all miss Ebony but appreciates all the calls, emails and cards. Thank you all for your support!

Diagnosed with Cancer ( The best dog and friend ever!) Missing her already!!!! (reposted)

My dog Ebony has been a part of my family for 13 years. She is a Pekingese. She weighs about 16 pounds at her highest weight. Therefore in human years she is only 75 years old. Supposely this is because of her small size. Last year, Ebony had surgery to remove a large thick lump off her ear. It was analyzed and determined that she has cancer. It is called Mast Cell. I can’t imagine her not in my life. The doctor said that radiation could possible prolong her life since she is in stage 2 out of 4 but that she should only live to twelve-years old anyway. So spending thousands in radiation treatment for a dog, whose lifeline is only to 12, doesn’t make a lot of financial sense. Right now she seems fine, but if she begins to suffer, we will have to make the hardest decision ever. This totally sucks for my family…

**New Note** Wednesday, June 9, my family and I will hold my dog's paw and caress her as the vet put her to sleep. Ebony has been diagnosed with mast and lymp cancer. She is too old and too sick to fight. Our hearts are heavy. Pray for us....
