It was a beautiful sunny day until.......

Today was such a beautiful day. The temperature here reached 72. We are expecting it to reach 80 on Thursday. Unfortunately, I have been sick in bed the whole week missing this beautiful weather before the winter sets in. I am not a winter person. I love summer and fall. I hate being sick but I must admit this is the only way that I will stop working as hard as I do to reach my personal goals.

I went out on the porch today and the sun was so bright. It was too bright. You couldn't see anything. Even with shades on, it was still too bright. But still I would have loved being out enjoying it.

I heard some disturbing news today about Bush. Please don't think I think of him 24/7 because I don't. It just so happened that as I looked up from my sick bed to focus on television I heard that he was planning a major tax overhaul that would only benefit the rich. Even Republicans are angry. What! Is this man that dense? Will he ever learn? Even with his hole peeked he still does stupid stuff. Does he really think the American people are idiots?

Okay, truthfully he was trying to help the middle class but somewhere down the line, things changed to go toward the rich. The lawmakers and lobbyists declared this proposal doomed because it was out of touch with hard working American families.

I am not really into politics but everyone I hear speaking of the proposal say that they feel Bush is trying to make the tax cut to help the rich. I don't really stay on top of politics because too much is happening this year and it's becoming a little too much for me. The weather here in Georgia is great for right now. However, when Hurricane Wilma hit it was terribly cold. I hope you feel better. I always get sick when the weather begins to change.

I love visiting your blog and I find your political and personal opinions are very similar to my own. Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well.

My Momma always said, "hate is a strong word, be careful how you use it". I hate Bush.

Hope you are feeling better! I hate to hear that you are sick, particularly when the weather has been so beautiful! I mean, it's never a good thing to be sick, but it's even worse when you're feeling under the weather during the good weather.

I find myself trying to steer clear of Bush conversations, myself. I get so worked up over his stupid new "plans" and his lack of attention to other issues that should be taking precedence.

Get well and we will celebrate.

Don't be confused... he has no intentions of helping the middle class OR the poor. It's not a conspiracy theory, it's true! Bush has some rich powerful friends he tends to, as a thank you for helping him get into and stay in power. It's no secret anymore. His approval ratings are lower than ever.

Sorry to hear you're sick. Take your vitamins and drink lots of water.

In Oregon, it's rainy here in the Western part of the state, and in Central and Eastern Oregon, snow in the mountains at 4500 feet. High winds tomorrow on the coast reaching 45 MPH. Temperatures in Corvallis now are in the 40s and 50s.

it's unseasonably warm here in KC! But I'll take it...usually I get sick when the seasons change...fall to winter, so I'm feeling your pain! I should buy some Delsym stock -- didn't get sick this time (knock on wood.)
You take care and get better soon.

Bush and his friends -- what can you do but shake your head? I'm really down on him and his buddy Mike Brown (formerly of FEMA). Heard today they released some emails from MB that focused more on how he looked during interviews than what he was doing to help Katrina victims. Cronyism -- d&*# shame!!!

After having 3/4 period of a year as summer, we, here in this part of the world, don't really enjoy sun...

I hope you get well soon...

And thanks for the explanation on electrocution discussion. Your words had value.

So, atlast, we can say that we, the non-Americans are not the only ones who don't like Mr.Bush and anything related to his political blunders...
