This has been an amazing week. So much happened that I don’t know where to start. Let’s just say this…change is inevitable. Even though we should expect changes to occur in our lives, I never expected it to occur as swiftly as it did recently. Sometimes change can be painful. Especially when you don’t want the change to affect you or someone you love in a negative way. That’s why the change that occurred on Friday was so difficult to take. First it wasn’t expected and secondly it impacted someone that I care about. How we deal with changes can make or break our faith. If we truly believe that nothing happens to you unless God wants it to, then you have to accept any changes that come your way. However if that change happens and it hurts you and your family or your ability to take care of your responsibility you may feel that God wasn’t part of that change. But listen, I beg to differ. I believe that when things happen to us it was God’s plan. You see he knows every hair on our head, every desire of our hearts, and every pain we have as well as every bone in our bodies. He also knows that there are times when he has to allow things to happen to us so that we can remember to give him the glory and that we will remember to seek out his love and help. I don’t believe that he does these things in malice to us but I believe he wants us to be strengthened and to have faith in him. So my dear friends, even though it may seem that Friday was one of your darkest days, please remember that God knows the desires of your heart and if you would just listen to what he is saying to you, the desires of your heart will be granted to you and may you find peace in happiness in your endeavors. Lesson for today is this...changes in our lives close the door to the old you, while introducing you to the new, improved better you.....
